Full-time Contract-based Assistant Professor Wanted (Fall, 2022)
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, Linguistics, Literature or Education (specialized in ESP & EAP)
- Extensive experience in ESL/EFL/EMI teaching and/or research, and administrative tasks preferred
- Native or near native English proficiency preferred
Duties
- Teach general skills English courses and ESP/EAP courses
- Train students to participate in English related contests
- Develop international exchange programs and internship related projects
- Organize EMI workshops, conduct department research projects and international cooperative projects.
- Conduct winter/summer English workshops and English learning programs for high school students, assist with the promotion of undergraduate and graduate programs
- Teach 13 hours per week (assistant professors)
- Complete assigned administrative tasks and hold three office hours per week
