Meeting the New Demands of Second Language Education: Research Innovations in Professional Development, Technology, and Literacy

 

 

The biennial ALLT conference brings together researchers and practitioners all over the world to share their latest research findings and applications to the field of applied linguistics and language teaching. Through exploring and exchanging ideas among contributors, this conference aims to present research state of the art in updated theories, advanced analysis, and teaching insights that connect the empirical research to the practical. This conference also proposes to inform frontline teachers of cutting-edge approaches as well as the fundamentals of language acquisition in the classroom so as to provide proper and timely scaffolds to equip learners with language and literacy competencies, and more important, learning abilities required for the future. For 2018 ALLT, topics may include, but are not limited to, the following:
