Introduction

The NTUST Department of Applied Foreign Languages (AFL), established in 1998, currently offers four degree programs—a four-year Bachelor’s degree program, a two-year Bachelor’s program (open to students holding an A.A., or equivalent), a night school Bachelor’s program for working adults, and a Master’s degree program. The department also encourages students to take advantage of its special study opportunities, including study abroad, teacher education certification, and inter-university elective courses offered in cooperation with National Taiwan Normal University. Students admitted to the university can also qualify for a double-degree or a double-major program.
